Call for Abstracts

Abstract Submissions now open

Welcome to the abstract submission page for the AGTA annual meeting (AGTA24) to be held at the Cairns Convention Centre in beautiful Far North Queensland, Australia.

We encourage submissions for short oral presentations (15 minutes including question time) and Poster Presentations which along with ‘lightning poster presentations’ are integral elements of the scientific program selected against key theme areas including:

  • AI and Machine Learning
  • Ancient Genomes, Paleogenomics, Indigenous Genomics
  • Emerging Genomic Technologies
  • Environmental Genomics
  • Human Health and Population Genetics
  • Integrated-omics
  • Plant and Animal Genomics (eg. Agriculture and aquaculture)
  • Single Cell and Spatial Omics

These presentation platforms are designed to showcase the latest research and to foster discussion and dialogue about work undertaken across the theme areas. Whether you are a Senior academic, Early Career Researcher (ECR), Graduate student, Industry representative or professional working in the field of, or using genome technologies, you have an opportunity to present your work at AGTA 2024, network and learn from experts and mentors in your field.

All accepted presentations will be delivered in person in Carins.
Choose how you want to present:
Oral - Take the stage and present to the audience in a 15-minute speaking session (includes question time)
Poster - Visually showcase your research or services via a printed poster displayed in the conference exhibition area

Author Registration Closes | 13th August 2024
